DAY 21 - BERLIN

MARCO SOLO
Once again, I saved Gene from a day of torturous museums and historical sites, and spent the day blissfully alone in Nazi and Stasi heaven. Started at the Stasi Museum, then Topography des Terror, Hitler's Bunker, to Checkpoint Charlie, and finally the Luftwaffe HQ.

DER STASI
Some very cool things in here. Secretly collected scent samples used to train dogs to track people, pens/bags/ties/cans of whipped cream/random logs of wood/rubbish bins/watering cans/briefcases etc. with secret cameras hidden in them, microphones disguised as watches... these people seriously had a lot of time on their hands.

PHILIPPE
One of Will and Magi's friends, took Gene and I out for amazing felafels in Kreuzberg, then to a cool little bar. Have unfortunately become a serious beer drinker. You just can't argue at under 1 Euro a bottle for some seriously tasty local produce.
