FIRENZE
Running out of descriptive words - amazing, beautiful, lovely, picturesque, striking. Florence was particularly stunning. Il Duomo was the most impressive, with an even more impressive interior.
MOAR
More pizza, more gelato, more hot chocolates, more nutella waffles. Diabetes. Whut?
PONTE VECCHIO
Admired all the jewellery, which was unfortunately just out of our budget. Drooled over pieces which typically began at a casual 200,000 Euro. Instead I bought a leather bag hand-made in Florence. And a matching pouch. Both in black. Uh ohh.
STRIKE
The museum workers were on strike the day we went to Florence. Why not. Very convenient. Unfortunately I seem to have brought my inherent bad luck over to Europe with me. So not too many naked male statues for us, but enough for one day at least.
